Deposit Account System (CUD in Spanish)

Is the country’s large-value payment system, administered and operated by the Central Bank, which provides authorized participating institutions with the service of transferring and recording fund transactions between deposit accounts held in their own name or in the name of their customers, in order to settle obligations arising from transactions such as the purchase and sale of securities and foreign exchange, interbank loans, tax transfers, and check clearing, among others.
